Feathers Futures brings women together into a connected community group, providing a safe, non-judgemental environment where women can have a voice, express feelings, be heard and understood. Their aim is to be a place for women to come and make friends, socialise, learn new skills and receive support. Supporting around 250 women a week from their local community, they provide support through group sessions and one-to-one counselling.

“Losing my job was a real low for me but if anything good came out of it was finding you. I was told I could get some toiletries, I never expected all the help you gave me.”

Service User, Feathers Futures

Through their toiletries bank, they provide free sanitary products and hygiene essentials. Having previously had to purchase sanitary products personally, as members of the Toiletries Amnesty directory, they now regularly receive donations of not only sanitary products, but also skincare and cosmetics, too to provide to their service users free of charge.

Since signing up, Feathers Futures have received thousands of donations over the years, greatly relieving the demand for hygiene products on their service, as well as corporate donations organised by Toiletries Amnesty from brands like Upcircle Beauty and more.

Feathers Futures and their service users chose to pay forward the support they receive by becoming the first of our organisations to create a collection of bracelets for the Broken Jewellery Project, a fundraising campaign from Toiletries Amnesty that takes broken and unwanted jewellery and beads and gives them a new lease of life as beautiful bracelets, transforming them into something new and unique.

Can you help keep the Toiletries Amnesty directory free to use?

We don’t charge organisations to list on our directory – toiletries and hygiene products are an essential daily need and we aim to provide free access to toiletries to as many people as we can.

Toiletries Amnesty is self-funded. We don’t receive any government funding or subsidies, but continue to support millions of people every year.

Can you help us continue this vital work?

Your contribution will make a huge difference, please donate if you can.
