In 2021 we partnered with Feelunique who pledged to raise over £30,000 to support our mission in combatting hygiene poverty and reducing environmental waste.

We celebrated the launch of our partnership by delivering treat boxes of luxury cosmetics and skincare products to over 50 of our member organisations, introducing them to the collaboration.

“THE PEOPLE WE SUPPORT DESERVE MORE THAN JUST THE ESSENTIALS – THEY DESERVE INDULGENT ITEMS AND POSITIVE EXPERIENCES, AND WE ARE SO THANKFUL THIS DONATION HAS ENABLED US TO PROVIDE JUST THAT. SELF-CARE IS SO IMPORTANT FOR WELLBEING, AND THIS DONATION FROM FEELUNIQUE AND TOILETRIES AMNESTY WILL REALLY HELP OUR BENEFICIARIES ON THEIR JOURNEY TO RECOVERY.”

Harbour Housing

Over a 12 month period Feelunique engaged in various fundraising activities – including organising sponsored park runs, cocktail evenings, staff sales and an online raffle – raising almost £15,000 for Toiletries Amnesty.

Despite the difficulties that many businesses faced in the midst of the global pandemic, a core team of activists within Feelunique continued to focus on supporting our work, spreading the word about Toiletries Amnesty within the press and their in-house produced Christmas magazine, and donating £10,000 worth of excess products from their head office.

Toiletries Amnesty distributed donated products to organisations all over the UK, including food banks, community groups, refugee support groups, hostels, refuges and homeless shelters.

Having raised almost half of their original pledge the team at Feelunique are keen to continue their support and help have a greater impact on hygiene poverty and beauty industry waste.

“We have been honoured to support Toiletries Amnesty and become a friend and ally of the organisation. At Feelunique, we are dedicated to making beauty accessible for ALL people and we passionately believe that everyone deserves to feel like their best and most confident self every day. Karen Harvey, the backbone of this incredible organisation, works tirelessly to educate on the impact of toiletries poverty and help more people access essential and feel-good items that make a real difference. From internal mixers and sponsored events to external raffles, we set out to raise crucial funds and awareness for Toiletries Amnesty. It was a joy to see the teams rally together, through remote working and some challenging times, to support a goal we all believed in. We’d like to thank them for their continued hard work and will remain ardent cheerleaders for Toiletries amnesty and its ongoing mission.”

Can you help keep the Toiletries Amnesty directory free to use?

We don’t charge organisations to list on our directory – toiletries and hygiene products are an essential daily need and we aim to provide free access to toiletries to as many people as we can.

Toiletries Amnesty is self-funded. We don’t receive any government funding or subsidies, but continue to support millions of people every year.

Can you help us continue this vital work?

Your contribution will make a huge difference, please donate if you can.
