| What we do | Step by Step offers accommodation and specialist support to young people affected by homelessness and other issues. Young people need more than a roof over their head if they are to move on with their lives. They need life skills, confidence and self-esteem if they are to leave homelessness behind them for good. That is why Step by Step offers key wraparound services, including counselling, information & advice, and well-being support. |
| What we accept |
When a young person arrives at Step By Step, they often have very few personal belongings. Where possible we offer a starter pack with basic toiletries & personal care items. We encourage young people to budget for their items, but sometimes they are in dire need when they arrive. When they move on to accommodation of their own, we can also send them off with the essentials to get started in their own home.
