| What we do | WAGEP is a 501(c)(3) organization located in Columbus, Ohio. We work with communities through our outreach program to provide some basic needs for people in need, specifically women of color and children. WAGEP is committed to empowering women to empower themselves. We imagine a world free of poverty, discrimination, and exploitation, where everyone is able to realize their potential. We then work to share that vision, hoping to achieve large-scale change through our programs. By giving women pathways to self-sufficiency, we improve not only their lives, but the lives of those around them. We create livelihood opportunities and the necessary conditions for socio-economic independence of the women we serve. In doing so, we encourage them to discover their worth . |
