|What we do||Oxford Mutual Aid focuses on those who struggle to access support elsewhere. Many people are referred to us by the City Council, GPs, social workers, and other agencies. Our main focus is food and essentials support, including toiletries, cleaning supplies, and baby care products. We supply regular food parcel and essentials support to 251 households, comprising 804 people, 331 of whom are under 14. This also includes supporting 65 households with new and expectant mothers, supplying them with formula milk, nappies, etc. In addition, in the past week we provided emergency parcels to over 150 people, 35 of them under 14. We also have partnerships with other local organisations whom we supply with specialised parcels for individuals with specific requirements.|
|What we accept||
We accept any and all toiletries providing that they are unused and unopened. This includes hotel/sample sized packs, multi-packs, and single size items.
We especially welcome toilet paper, sanitary products, and baby products. Over the counter medication, including children's medication, and first aid supplies are also gratefully received.
As we work with people who may be experiencing difficult times, we like to be able to offer self-care related products as well as essentials - bath bombs, nice soaps, face masks, and makeup, for instance.
|Accept part-used products?||No|
