|What we do||To give you some information on what we do here: • We are not a food bank. • We are a community pantry that offers shopping choices of frozen, dry and fresh produce each week. We also stock: cleaning, personal and ambient products. We do not choose the shopping, the members do – allowing them to cater for their individual, or family, needs and preferences. • We are a member focused food provision where there is no limit to membership time. • We receive some donated food from Warburton’s, Asda and various supermarket customer donations. We purchase food from Fair Share so that amazing quality food doesn’t go to landfill. • Anyone who is feeling the pinch of living at present can join, we are all inclusive and do not discriminate against anyone. • The weekly shop costs £5 and on average this enables the member to receive products at cost price up to £30+. • We are open every Tuesday to Friday and is supported by volunteers. We are currently receiving a high number of referrals for this service and are running low on stock for this amazing community project. I would be extremely grateful if you would be able to contribute in any way and help people that are struggling in our community, at this time, and in the future. Kind regards Nikki|
|What we accept||
We are desperately low on personal hygiene, sanitary and laundry products. We have no nappies, sanitary pads, toothbrushes or toothpaste in at all.
Any donations of any kind will be greatly appreciated.
