What we do | We are a housing association, I manage 2 young people supported units. Our residents are aged 16 - 25 years, and vary with a range of support needs from high to low. We house and support young homeless people, with the goal to get them ready to live into independent living. We house and support young people from all walks of life, in a holistic manner, taking an Advantaged Thinking approach, to enable and encourage our residents to make the most of their time in supported housing but also acknowledge, recognise and develop their own unique skills and attributes. |
What we accept |
We are happy to take used items if they are in good condition, items such as clothing (not underwear), furniture and other home items. Items will only be accepted if in a very good condition, otherwise we will have the cost of removing/discarding of any unwanted/unclaimed items.
Items will be dispersed amongst our Young People service, which houses around 103 young people altogether, all these residents will have access to any donations received/collected at this base.
