FUNDRAISER: Sound Bath with Gongs and Crystal Singing Bowls in support of Toiletries Amnesty

SoulStar Stories are super-excited to be hosting a fundraiser to support the vital work of non-profit organisation, Toiletries Amnesty, in their work to provide hundreds of thousands of people living in hygiene poverty, locally and nationwide, with hygiene and beauty products.

The event will take place from 6.30pm – 9.30pm, Thursday 25 November 2021 at Thornham Village Hall, Norfolk, PE36 6LX.

How can you help? By taking this moment to nourish your own wellbeing, you will be providing essential support to thousands of others, enabling them to take care of their own personal hygiene, confidence, dignity.

This unique, 90-minute, immersive sound bath incorporates meditation and essential oils to elevate your healing experience and calm the mind, leaving you feeling nourished and rejuvenated. The sonic soundscape will be created by Antonina (SoulStar Stories) Alisdair (Stillness Meditation and Gongs) and Alice (Kyushi Wellness), who will be playing her sonic crystal bowls to create cosmic vibrations in abundance.

Together they will create a restorative sound healing experience that will vibrate and activate cells in your body to induce complete relaxation, leaving you feeling amazing.

As well as the extended Sound Bath you will receive a beautiful goody bag (valued at over £200!) containing a carefully curated selection of items with mindfullness, good living, and wellbeing in mind.

These goody bags have made possible by generous Toiletries Amnesty, supporters including: Tatty Tides, Sprout Interiors, The Green Parrot, Etoile Essentials, Kyushi Skincare, Louise Stebbing Printmaker, Rex London, SoulStar Stories, Clearspring and Shower Blocks, Shutter Hub, and Spice Kitchen.

The event will also be an opportunity for you to have a clear out at home by donating any unwanted, unused, part-used toiletries, cosmetics and beauty products that you have filling up your space. Bag them up and bring them with you. Toiletries Amnesty will distribute them to refuges and homeless centres nationwide.

The evening will include:

6.30pm –  Mulled apple juice reception. Collection of donated toiletries.

7pm – Brief introduction to Toiletries Amnesty by founder, Karen Harvey.

7.30pm – 9pm – Gong and Sonic Crystal Therapy Sound Bath.

9pm – Shopping opportunity! Selection of discounted beauty products and other lovely items to raise funds for Toiletries Amnesty.
